Welcome to the District 27 web site! I'm Joseph A. LaGuardia, husband of Jackie and Deputy for the 27th. District. Feel free to use this website for any and all information about our District. I am Past Grand Knight of Council 11680, Our Lady Queen of Peace Council, Former New Council Development Chairman, and former Public Relations Coordinator for the St. Petersburg Diocese.
This begins my fourth and final year as your District Deputy. This year promises to be a "red banner" year for us as I anticipate that at least three of our six Councils' will make STAR Council. It has been a real up hill battle and the accomplishments of this District is mainly due to superior Grand Knights' with vision into the future, but mostly your efforts and God's good graces.
I need to especially thank Chuck Wills, GK, PGK,FDD,and my District Warden and my good friend and fellow District Deputy Al Thompson District #26 for all the help I have received. I want to thank my Council & Financial Secretary Kevin McMahon for not only their moral support but also their monetary assistance.
I also need to thank my friend Tony Nalli, former Florida State Liturgical Chairman and former District Deputy and my predecessor, for walking the walk with me. Thank you to my Brother Knight, Nick France, past Grand Knight, now Florida State Intell Information Chairman for making this site available to me and constantly reminding my how to use it. I promise my best efforts to continue to serve you and the Knights of Columbus.
